Self-care so often becomes another thing on the to-do list. We set intentions, make plans, take classes, spend money. And, yet, the habits don’t stick. Routines are never fully integrated, items remain unchecked, and before we know it we’re back in the same cycle: busy, burnt out, and running on empty.

This happens not because we don’t care. And we often blame it on the idea that we “don’t have enough time.” Our self-care ambitions never get realized because we rarely take the time to intentionally design a self-care plan that works for us — one that fits our lives, our ambitions, our rhythms, and our unique emotional needs.
